Introductory Tour
This introductory Golden Triangle tour will enable the traveller to see the sights of Delhi such as the Red Fort (lights and sound show during evening visit) , Laxminarayan and Lotus Temples, Jama Masjid (the largest Mosque in Asia), Qutab Minar, Raj Ghat (Gandhi Memorial), Parliament House , Connaught Place, Humayun's Tomb, and many other prominent places. This first day tour will introduce you to the history of India, local people, food, road traffic and sounds and prepare you well for your next day's travel to Agra.
In Agra you will visit the famous Taj Mahal (the resting place of Begum Mumtaz, wife of the Emperor Shah Jahan), Agra Fort, Tomb of Akbar and Fatehpur and Sikri. Agra was the ancient capital of the Mogul Empire, hence, its rich history is very clearly seen around Agra.
You will then move to the pink city of Jaipur, where you will be able to see the Hindu influence on Maharajah Palaces and Forts. One evening, it is advised that you visit a model Rajasthani village of Chowki Dhani and enjoy its folk dances, elephant, camel and bullock cart rides, and other shows and, finally, enjoy the exquisite Rajasthani village cuisine.(See our itinerary)
You will then fly for your second week to any destination you like but for your first visit to India we recommend you to fly to Goa for relaxation on Goan white sandy beaches.

Advance Tours
For your second and subsequent visits we have many other such tours in Northern India to places like Jodhpur, Jaisalmer (in the desert), Udaipur, Mount Abu and other splendours of Rajastan and adjoining states as your chosen itinerary. If you prefer cooler and mountainous destinations then we suggest, Amritsar and its Golden Temple, Kulu, Manali, Shimla and Kashmir, directly north of Delhi. Moving towards the north east one can visit the holy places (Haridwar and Rishikesh) at the base of the Himalayas and the Ganges. For a traveller who prefers exotic and adventurous places, then Nepal (Mt Everest), Sikkim, Ladakh, on Himalayan Ranges would be your choice. Heading west you have choice of Varanasi, Sarnath, Darjeeling and Kalimpong.
